How to Transfer Calls from your RingCentral Deskphone

You can use touch tone commands on your desk phone if it does not have a dedicated transfer button for transferring calls. You can use these touch tone commands to transfer the call to another extension or to a different phone number.

 

Transfer a call to another extension in your account

1. Dial double hash or pound (##) key to place the caller on hold.
• When pressing ##, you may hear “You have a call on hold, to return to the call, press #. To transfer this call to an extension, dial the Extension number. For more options, press *”.

2. Dial the Extension number.
• The call will then be blind transferred to the other extension. The caller will remain on hold until the other extension picks up or until routed to the other extension's voice mailbox.
