How to record an Auto Attendant greeting from your phone



  1. Dial 9999 from your Nextiva phone.

  2. When the automated message begins, press * to interrupt it.

  3. Enter the Mailbox ID 9999.

  4. Enter the Default Passcode of 0000.

  5. Select Option 1 to change an Auto Attendant Greeting.

  6. Select whether you want to change the Business Hours Greeting (1) or the After Hours Greeting (2).

  7. Press 1 to record a new greeting.

  8. Record your new message.

  9. Press # when you have finished recording.


You will hear additional menu options after you press # to listen and rerecord the new greeting if necessary. Once you are satisfied with your new greeting, the greeting will be updated and implemented for your auto attendant.
