How to change a password using Outlook Web Access (Exchange 2007)

    This guide will show you how to change a password using Outlook Web Access.

    All SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 accounts.

    • a SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 account

    • Outlook




  • How to


     



    1. Open any Web browser and type http://webmail.sherweb.com in the address bar.




    Note: For full user experience, please use Internet Explorer 6+.


     



    1. Log in using your email address and current password.



    Note: If you have forgotten your password, please contact us by email at [email protected]. If you are the Account Manager, please click here to reset your password.


    1. Once you are logged in, click on Options, located at the top right hand corner of OWA. OWA_Options_eng

    2. Go to the far left of OWA and click on Change PasswordOWA_Change_PW

    3. Enter your former password as well as your new password, and then click on Save. OWA_New_PW

    4. Outlook Web Access will tell you that your password has been successfully changed. Click on OK to log in with your new password. OWA_PW_changed


    Note: You can also ask an Exchange Administrator to change your password via SherWeb’s Control Panel.
