How to change a password using Outlook Web Access (Exchange 2007)
Synopsis
This guide will show you how to change a password using Outlook Web Access.
Applicable to
All SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 accounts.
Prerequisite
- a SherWeb hosted Exchange 2007 account
- Outlook
How to
- Open any Web browser and type http://webmail.sherweb.com in the address bar.
Note: For full user experience, please use Internet Explorer 6+.- Log in using your email address and current password.
Note: If you have forgotten your password, please contact us by email at support@sherweb.com. If you are the Account Manager, please click here to reset your password.- Once you are logged in, click on Options, located at the top right hand corner of OWA.
- Go to the far left of OWA and click on Change Password.
- Enter your former password as well as your new password, and then click on Save.
- Outlook Web Access will tell you that your password has been successfully changed. Click on OK to log in with your new password.
Note: You can also ask an Exchange Administrator to change your password via SherWeb’s Control Panel.
